Equipping Teachers for Instructional Effectiveness through Educational Technology Ethics in the Teaching and Learning of Basic Science and Technology in Ekiti State, Nigeria (Published)
In an era characterized by the rapid advancement of educational technology, the role of teachers in ethically and effectively integrating these tools into their teaching practices is crucial. This study examines the intersection of educational technology and ethics, emphasizing the importance of equipping teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate this evolving landscape responsibly. As digital tools become increasingly widespread, educators are confronted with a variety of ethical challenges, including the protection of student privacy and ensuring equitable access to technological resources. This study explores the ethical dilemma teachers’ face when utilizing educational technology and offers strategies for addressing them. The study uses a descriptive research design of the survey type. The population of the study comprises all Basic Science and technology teachers in Ekiti State secondary schools. One hundred and twenty Basic Science and technology teachers were used as sample size which was selected using multi-stage sampling techniques. Three research questions were raised and answered descriptively using simple frequency counts, percentage and mean. Also two corresponding hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. Data for the study were collected using structured questionnaire developed by the researcher and validated by experts in test and measurement and two educational technology experts. The results showed that most teachers of Basic Science and technology were not fully aware of educational technology ethics and therefore possess little or no knowledge in the application of educational technology ethics in their teaching and learning process. Recommendations were made that teachers should undergo professional training in the utilization of educational technology ethics which will promote student achievement, equity and ethical integrity.

Assessment of The Integration of ICT in Teaching and Learning in Tertiary Institutions in Imo State, Nigeria, in The Era of Insecurity (Published)
The study investigated the assessment of the integration of ICT in teaching and learning in tertiary institutions in Imo state in the era of insecurity. Two research objectives, two research questions and one research hypothesis guided the study. The population of the study consisted of all the 2,722 lecturers in the seven tertiary institutions in Imo State, Nigeria. Random sampling technique was used to select 100 lecturers each from four out of the seven tertiary institutions. The instrument for data collection was a self –developed 10-item questionnaire entitled: Questionnaire for integration of ICT (QIICT). Test retest method was used to ensure the reliability of the instrument. A reliability coefficient of 0.8 was determined for the instrument using the Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation. Mean was used to answer the research questions while ANOVA was used to test the hypothesis. The study found out that the extent of integration of ICT facilities for teaching and learning by lecturers in tertiary institutions in Imo State is still low even in this era of insecurity where it is necessary for lecturers interact with the students while they are at home. It also found out that the extent of application of ICT facilities did differ significantly among the institutions and that factors such as epileptic power supply and lack of ICT facilities are among the factors that militate against the application of ICT facilities by lecturers.

Relevance of Poetry: Catalyst of Moral Education in Sustaining Literacy for National Development in Teaching and Learning French Language (Published)
This paper attempts to show the relevancy of French poetry as catalyst of moral education in sustaining literacy for national development in teaching and learning the Language French. French poetry is one of the literary works that is used in giving moral education and promoting literacy in the teaching and learning French language. Education and moral are related to the needs of the society, it is what the students need to utilize in their daily life and should be given to them so as to have a brighter future. French language contains materials that deal with cognitive aspects likewise literacy education in form of prose and poetry which deal with the moral values should be imparted on the students during teaching process. French poetry, like other branches of literature is a work of imaginable deep thoughts, feelings and human experiences. Many people or teacher who are concerned about poetry teaching emphasise quite rightly the need to produce a lively atmosphere in the class so that poetry can be seen to be a source of pleasure and bring about the desired value change in our society. Descriptive research of a survey type was used for the study. The sample consisted of selected 50 French language students in two private Universities and 10 French language teachers in different institutions. The questionnaire was designed on the ability of the students towards teaching and learning French poetry as a catalyst of moral education in sustaining literacy for national development. The instrument used was a questionnaire for the teachers to generate information from them on the activities of the students towards learning French poetry and the provision of instructional materials during the Teaching and Learning of French poetry. Data collected were analysed using frequency count, percentage and ANOVA.

Evaluation of E-Learning Education System in Academic Achievement and Learning Outcomes in National Open University of Nigeria (Noun), Bauchi Study Centre, Bauchi State (Published)
As technology advances, the use of Information and Communication (ICT) tools or gadgetries has proliferated in all areas of human endeavors which paved way for the use of electronic learning (e-learning) system in which teachers are no longer present in the physical classroom to teach their courses. This paper therefore evaluate the e-learning system as a mode of teaching and learning process, relevance of its usage and challenges that hinder majority of students in its usage in learning process particularly in our National Open University. This research will adopt survey research design where the researchers developed questionnaire known as Questionnaire on Usage of Electronic Learning System (QUELS) that served as an instrument for data collected. The study areas constituted Bauchi study centre of National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) in the north east of Nigeria. And the population constituted all the students in the first year and second year of National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) which was the sample of the study. Three (3) research questions were formulated the purpose of this research, The instrument used for data collected was validated by the experts in both fields of Computer Science and Education. Challenges such as non-availability of internet services, inability of indigent students to possess portable computer devices, irregular power supply as well as cost of accessing Internet facilities was assessed. And recommendations were given base on the findings of this research in order to see the possibilities of expanding the system in our schools at the advance level and some of the major problems facing studying electronically.

Educational Services to Develop Students’ Different Variaties of Potential, Competence, Knowledge, and Experience in Elementary School (Published)
Education plays an important role to give a service to students particularly to those who have various kind of potential. Therefore, it needs to formulate the concept of educational services that can develop the potential of diverse students. This case study used a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) technique conducted in Jakarta, Bandung, and Surakarta. The research found out the concept of educational services for various kinds of students’ potential with the needs of strengthening school principal management involving students’ parents’ association, home visit, improve teaching and learning using various kinds of teaching methodology and teaching and learning tool.
