Extent of Awareness and Use of Online Databases in Digital Environment for Academic Activities by Undergraduate Students in Adeyemi Federal University of Education Ondo, Nigeria (Published)
The study is on Extent of Awareness and Use of Online Databases in Digital Environment for Academic Activities by Undergraduate Students in Adeyemi Federal University of Education Ondo, Nigeria. Six research objectives and questions guided the study. The survey research design was adopted for the study. The study population consisted of Adeyemi Federal University of Education Undergraduates. Structured questionnaire was developed for the study and used for the data collection. A sample size of 100 respondents was purposively chosen as the respondents of the study. All data were categorized and analyzed using tables, frequency, charts and simple percentage, for data analysis. The results reveal that the majority of AFUED undergraduate students had a generally low level of awareness of the available online databases in the University Digital Library. EBSCOHOST recorded the highest level of combined awareness (HA + FA + A = 65.0%), making it the most recognized database among respondents, followed by Proquest (53.0%). However, a substantial proportion of students remained unaware (NA) of most databases. JSTOR recorded a non-awareness rate of 59.0%, AGORA 69.0%, African Digital Library 64.0%, HINARI 64.0%, and Indiana University Press had the highest non-awareness rate of 75.0%. This finding suggests that awareness of online databases among AFUED undergraduates is generally low, with most students either unaware or only marginally aware of the digital resources available to them in the Online environment. the challenges confronting AFUED undergraduate students in their use of online databases. The most critical challenge was incessant power failure, with 85.0% of respondents (SA + A) affirming this as a major barrier. This was closely followed by server low bandwidth (80.0%), insufficient computers in the library (80.0%), discouraging subscription costs (70.0%), expensive downloading and printing (68.0%), and insufficient time due to academic pressure (68.0%).The most strongly supported strategies included provision of uninterrupted power supply (SA + A = 88.0%), provision of enough computers in the Digital Library (88.0%), government provision of subsidized laptops to students (88.0%), teaching students advanced database searching skills (88.0%), and giving students orientation and education on online information resources (87.0%).

Effect of Flipped Learning Approach on Academic Performance and Retention of Undergraduate Students in Trigonometry in Kebbi State Nigeria (Published)
This study investigated the effect of the flipped learning approach on the academic performance and retention of undergraduate students in trigonometry in Kebbi State, Nigeria. A quasi-experimental design was employed, involving 140 students divided into an experimental group (taught using flipped learning) and a control group (taught using traditional methods). The Trigonometry Achievement Test (TAT) was administered as a pretest, posttest, and delayed posttest (after four weeks) to measure performance and retention. Results indicated that the flipped learning group significantly outperformed the control group in both academic performance (mean difference) and retention (mean difference). No significant gender differences were found in either performance or retention. The findings suggest that flipped learning enhances trigonometry learning outcomes and retention more effectively than traditional methods, supporting its adoption in undergraduate mathematics education.

Understanding Students’ Psychological Stress: A Case of Sukkur Iba University (Published)
Students’ stress plays disastrous role in loss of psychologically personal and academic performance of Sukkur IBA University undergraduate students. This research attempts to understand the prevalence of anxiety and stress symptoms. In doing so, ten semi-structured interviews were conducted to gain participants’ insights about understanding students’ psychological stress. The results obtained in three dimensions (1) Stress indicators, (2) Creators and (3) Key determinants for ideal learning environment to make students learned at IBA. The research found that students are the producers of stresses themselves due to mismanagement of time and academic performance is affected. Institutional policy and exams are major factors that students face to psychological departed into stress. The solution to overcome stress involve from two sides. One is student only to plan and execute time for studies effectively and efficiently. Second, suggested mentoring and counselling should be carried out for under stress students by Sukkur IBA University.

Availability and Utilization of Internet Facilities among Undergraduate Students of Colleges of Education Nigeria (Published)
The National Policy of Nigeria (2014), recognizes the important role of ICT (internet) in the modern world hence the launching of ICT driven project known as Schoolnet. The study examined availability and utilization of internet facilities among undergraduate students of the Colleges of Education, Ikere Ekiti as a case study. Descriptive design research of the survey type was used to collect data. Five research questions were raised while four hypotheses were postulated for the study. The population consisted of all the undergraduate students of College of Education, Ikere –Ekiti and the sample was made up of 180 male and female students selected through simple random sampling techniques. The instrument for the study was a questionnaire tagged availability and utilization of internet facilities among undergraduate students of colleges of education (AUIFAUS). The study revealed that the facilities were not adequately available hence the low utilization. Poor electric power supply was the major hindrance. The findings also showed that internet usage was not gender sensitive but students from high social economic background used internet more frequently than those from poor economic background. It was therefore recommended that both the government and the college authority should ensure that internet facilities and regular power supply are made available for students’ use.

Students’ Perception of the Use of Social Networking Web-Based Tools for Instructional Delivery among Undergraduate Students (Published)
This paper examined the use of social networking web-based tools for instructional delivery among undergraduate students. Consequently, two hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. The survey study consisted of 200 students drawn from the Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Calabar Centre. A well validated 10 item questionnaire on a four- point likert scale was the instrument used for data collection. Data collected was analyzed using Pearson product moment correlation coefficient analysis at .05 level of significance. The results show that the use of web-based tools (e-mail, face book) greatly improved the quality of educational interaction and delivery among undergraduate students of NOUN. The paper, therefore, advocates that undergraduate students should be sufficiently exposed to and flexibly utilized these web-based tools to improve the quality of their academic work.

Relevance of Entrepreneurial Studies as Perceived by Vocational Education Undergraduate Students in Nigeria (Published)
This study investigated the perception of undergraduate vocational education students on the relevancy of entrepreneurial Studies in Ekiti state. In order to elicit information required for this study, three research questions were developed and answered while two null hypotheses were formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance. A 17 item structured questionnaire titled vocational education students’ entrepreneurial studies perception (VESESP) was developed for data collection. Survey research design was adopted for the study. The sample for the study was 84 respondents made up of 97 male and 49 female vocational educational students in the two institutions running vocational education programs in Ekiti state. Face and content validity were carried out on the structured questionnaire by two experts in vocational and technical and education. The Cronbach alpha method was used to compute the reliability of the questionnaire to obtain a co-efficient of 0.79. Mean and standard deviation were used to analyse the research questions while t-test statistics and ANOVA were used to test the hypothesis. Based on the data collected and analysed, it was discovered that majority of respondent view entrepreneurship education as desirable and that entrepreneurship education prepares students very well for future entrepreneurial careers, there were also no significant differences among students running various degree programmes among other findings. However, it was also observed that there are various challenges facing entrepreneurship education as perceived by the students, this includes; students not having the opportunity to interact with high level entrepreneurs, inability of students to be able to prepare business plan after attending entrepreneurship education classes among others. Recommendations were thereafter made on ways to improve on entrepreneurship education courses in order to achieve the desired objectives of making vocational and technical education graduates to be job creator rather than job seekers.

COMPUTER LITERACY AMONG UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS IN NIGERIA UNIVERSITIES (Published)
The study is aimed at investigating the effect of gender, socio-economic status and settings on computer literacy among undergraduate students in Nigeria universities. 300 undergraduate students were randomly selected form 3 universities in the geo-political zones in the southern Nigeria. A questionnaire containing 20 items was drawn in line with the 3 hypothesis raised for the study. The instrument was validated by experts in test and evaluation as well as Higher Education administration experts. The reliability of the instrument was established using the test-re-test method. The data collected was analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation coefficient statistic and it was established at 0.86 which shows that the instrument is reliable. The 3 hypothesis were analyzed using the t-test statistical method. The study shows that there is a significantly difference between male and female undergraduate students in computer literacy. Thesocio-economic status of students affect their exposure to computer recourses. There is a significant difference between students brought up in urban and rural settings in their exposure and use of the computers. Plausible suggestions were made if computer literacy is to be given a pride of pace among undergraduate student
