The Impact of Collaborative Writing on Kuwaiti High School Students’ Writing Development (Published)
This study investigates the frameworks in which Kuwaiti high school students studying English as a foreign language engaged in collaborative writing exercises to determine the impact on the content of their independent and collectively written texts. Participants included final year high school students with an intermediate level of English proficiency (i.e., upper-intermediate or B2 on the CEFR index). This research paper examines the mechanisms in which participants engaged as part of their collaborative writing exercises and the effect of such engagement on their independent and collective writing content. The research adopted quantitative methodology for data collection through holistic proficiency sources. Empirical ranking of participants’ scores led to two conclusions on how teamwork in small groups influenced the content of student texts produced collaboratively and independently. In addition, collaborative writing tended to increase output in both classes. Although both groups of students improved in various learning areas, they scored higher overall on the second writing challenge.

The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Education in Cambodia (Published)
This paper reviewed the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education by preliminary document studies. In Cambodia, as of 30 October 2020, school closures replaced by distance learning. First, the paper highlighted the immediate impact on student learning and wellbeing, mostly kids. Second, it illustrated teachers and school personnel are facing on adapting with ICT skills to support distance learning. Third, it showed ineffective delivery of continuous learning and learning outcomes are not quite well and limit for quality of education. Finally, it stated the implementation of the Ministry of Education Youth and Sports (MoEYS) Education Strategic Plan (ESP) 2019-2023 is also severely impacted by the pandemic. To address these challenges, MoEYS developed learning platforms and continue learning programs for line learning. The Joint Technical Working Group (JTWG), MoEYS and ESWG created objectives for the Education COVID-19 Response Plan. MoEYS is planning to reopen educational institutions in three phases with the strictest health safety standards by blended learning following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the condition of Covid-19. The paper recommended that the government and MoEYS and stakeholders should respond to the situations during the Covid-19 pandemic: i). The continuous learning program should be strengthened as a priority for online learning with social media to ensure effective learning; ii). The digital infrastructure should be promoted in the countryside and remote areas to strengthen online learning with the platforms of MoEYS; iii). The ICT skills and digital education should be strengthened by providing training and development to teachers to ensure effective online learning; and teachers and students engagement, and iv). The content and curriculum on paper should be adapted and replaced by digital form to ensure effective learning and teaching.

Impact of Xenophobia on Nigerian Students in South Africa (Published)
The relationship between South Africa and Nigeria dates back to 1960s during the Apartheid era. Nigeria played an instrumental role in ending apartheid and upon the collapse of the apartheid regime, migrants from Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, including Nigeria swamped into the country as a result of investment opportunities. However, the current challenges facing South Africa such as unemployment, poor border control, lack of education caused deep resentment amongst the locals and resulted in xenophobic attitudes and violence. This paper thus, is informed by the rise in the attacks on Nigerians in South Africa and takes a critical analysis of the impact of xenophobia on Nigeria students in South Africa. In achieving this, data was collated using a 12 item questionnaire titled “Impact of Xenophobia on Nigerian students in South Africa” across 30 randomly selected Nigerian students using sampling technique rated on a 4point likert scale. The findings of this study indicates that Nigerian students face discrimination from fellow students, locals and immigration and government officials while the rise of xenophobic sentiments has impacted the economy and investment opportunities of South Africa. Awareness campaigns by stakeholders, policies that boost employment and the economy as well as partnership by both governments were recommended by the study.

Impact of University Motivated Environment on Students Learning (Published)
Purpose: This research paper aims to examine the Impact of University Motivated Environment on Students Learning. Design/Methodology/Approach: Keeping in view the objectives the University Motivated Environment factors has been taken. The study sample of 300 students randomly selected from different departments of Albaha university. The use of the likert scale and a questionnaire containing 35 items related to the university motivated factors were used to measure the impact. Popular statistical T-test ANOVA was applied by using SPSS software highlighting more detailed findings of the study. Findings: The results shows that students are not satisfied with the university motivated learning environment because the services and support provided by the university related to Library, Computer, Parking, Cafeteria, Bus, Air Conditioning, Sports, Lab equipments, Cleanliness, Light, Guidelines, Track Complaints, Website, Internet Wi Fi environment, Training and placement, Update curriculum according to need of Industry, Scholarships, Sufficient number of staff to serve students, Recruiting staff according to the need of students, etc are not proper or given which affect students learning environment. Statistical analysis shows that Hypotheses is accepted in all cases. Originality/value – The value of this research is that the university will improve the services from which students are not satisfied.

EMPIRICAL EVIDENCES OF THE IMPACT OF COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS ON RURAL BAYELSA, NIGERIA (Published)
The community and social development projects (CSDP) is a conceived development intervention that builds on two existing poverty-reduction oriented programmes which are the poverty reduction project and local empowerment and environmental management project which came into effect in 2004. However, since the inception of the CSDP in many states of the federation, including Bayesla State, little or no empirical research has been carried out to determine the impact on community development in rural Bayelsa. This is the gap that this study filled as it among other things found, out that, CSDP has contributed to the development of community capacity to respond appropriately to their immediate but essential needs such as, water, health, sanitation, education through literacy promotion, and social integration of members. Based on these outcomes, certain recommendations were made to enhance best interventional process.
