Media Campaigns and Public Awareness and Participation in the 2022 Voter Registration Exercise in Enugu Metropolis of Enugu State, Nigeria (Published)
This study investigated Media Campaigns and Public Awareness and Participation in the 2022 Voter Registration Exercise in Enugu Metropolis of Enugu State, Nigeria. The study adopted quantitative (descriptive) research design. The study population was residents of Enugu metropolis who were of voter registration age. Systematic random sampling technique was adopted. Questionnaire served as instrument for data collection. Data were analysed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 21. Findings show that the mass media contributed significantly in creating awareness for public participation in the 2022 voter registration in Enugu state, Nigeria. The study recommends more utilization of the media in political mobilization for political elections in Nigeria. Content creators in particular must also take both the diversities of media audience in the area into consideration in planning and packaging such media contents to yield desired outcomes.

Implications of Employee Participation in Decision Making for the Performance of Local Government Administration in Nigeria: A survey of selected local governments in Enugu state (Published)
The paper is on the Implications of employee participation in decision making for the performance of local government administration in Nigeria. Three local governments in Enugu state were selected for the study. The paper is an empirical research using survey design approach with a population of 1972 drawn from Enugu East (526), Enugu North (746), and Enugu South (649) local government areas. A sample size of 331 employees was used. The instruments used for data generation was structured questionnaire and frequencies and percentages were used for analysis. The findings of the study include that employees’ participation significantly increases the quality of service delivery, reduces work error, increases job satisfaction, enhances better policy implementation, and better directs employees’ efforts towards organizational goals. Challenges facing employees’ participation include assumed poor knowledge and skill of employees; lack of trust of employees by top management that limit their participatory space; management unwillingness to share information with junior staff; and the traditional top-down decision making approach to management.

Women Participation in Politics and National Development (Published)
The contribution of women to the socio-economic and political development of any modern democratic state is essential and indispensable. This paper examines the extent of women participation in politics and national development in Nigeria. The study adopted secondary data as sources of information. The constraints of women participation inpolitics pose as hindrance to national developmentin Nigeria. It is discernible from this study that cultural, environmental, educational and gender factors are major barriers to active women participation inpolitics. It is part of the objectives of this work to realize active women participation in National political life for a sustainable National development.Government at all levels should embark on enlightenment campaign to sensitize the public on the need for more women to embrace and pursue education as this is a catalyst for active women participation inpolitics. It is also recommended that coercive legislations should be made at all levels against every form of discrimination against women.
