Transformational Leadership and Employee Performance Among Hotels in Lagos Metropolis (Published)
This study aims to examine the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance in five-star hotels in Lekki, Lagos. The study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how different dimensions of transformational leadership contribute to enhancing employee performance in the hospitality sector. The study adopts a descriptive survey research design, targeting employees from five selected five-star hotels in Lekki, Lagos. The total population comprises 450 employees, and a sample size of 210 respondents is determined using the Yaro Yamane formula at a 95% confidence level and 5% margin of error. Stratified random sampling was used to ensure representation across various hotel departments. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire, validated for content and construct, and tested for reliability using Cronbach’s Alpha (0.82). Multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the relationship between transformational leadership dimensions and employee performance outcomes. The findings reveal that idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and employee recognition significantly impact employee productivity, job satisfaction, creativity, engagement, and retention. These dimensions of transformational leadership were shown to foster a positive work environment, motivating employees to enhance performance and contribute to organizational success. The study concludes that transformational leadership is crucial for improving employee performance in hotels. It recommends investing in leadership training, fostering creativity, providing individualized support, recognizing employee contributions, and cultivating a positive organizational culture to enhance overall performance and employee satisfaction.

Motivational Factors Affecting the Staffs’ Job Satisfaction of the Public Organizations in Dong Nai Province (Published)
Nowadays, staffs’ job satisfaction is a key element of general satisfaction which gives employees energy to perform and continue his job adequately. Job satisfaction regulates the peace of mind, foster relaxation that leads to more enthusiasm and more innovative work. It gives the clear picture of completeness and accomplishment emanating from his work, a feeling which has nothing to do with money but a feeling of relief that the employee gets out of the work itself. The study results showed that there were 200 staffs related to the public organizations in Dong Nai province who interviewed and answered about 21 questions but 159 staffs processed. Data collected from July 2016 to November 2017 for the staffs of the public organizations in Dong Nai province. The paper had been analyzed KMO test, Cronbach’s Alpha and the result of KMO analysis which used for multiple regression analysis. Staffs’ responses of the public organizations measured through an adapted questionnaire on a 5-point Likert scale (Conventions: 1: Completely disagree, 2: Disagree, 3: Normal; 4: Agree; 5: completely agree). Hard copy and online questionnaire distributed among 1.000 the staffs of the public organizations in Dong Nai province. In addition, the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) results showed that there were five factors affecting the staffs’ job satisfaction of the public organizations in Dong Nai province with significance level 5 percent. Factors influencing job satisfaction of employees in telecom sector of Pakistan (Review Completed - Accepted)
The telecom industry plays an important role in the underpinning of a country’s economy. This study is aimed at getting a clearer view of the level of satisfaction of the employees in various telecom companies. The main concerns are the relative importance and need of different job satisfaction factors and how they contribute to the overall satisfaction of the employees. Another field of focus is the impact of different things, such as experience, age and sex on job satisfaction. The results deduced represent employee relations, salary, fringe supervision, and efficiency as the most important factors influencing job satisfaction. It was seen that job satisfaction was good in telecommunication companies This paper was utilized in understanding the importance of the environment in which the employees work, pay, fairness, promotion, job security, supervisors, and co-worker relationships and their effect on job satisfaction. All telecom companies Ufone, Zong, Telenor, Warid telecom, Pakistan Telecommunication and Mobilink were visited to collected data. Data was quantitatively collected through close-ended questionnaires with a sample size of 200 telecom sector employees. Data was analyzed through correlation and multiple regression using SPSS software and results were significant. The overall job satisfaction of the employees in the telecom sector is at the positive level. Hence, this research was mainly undertaken to investigate on the significance of factors such as working conditions, pay and promotion, job security, fairness, relationship with co-workers and supervisors in affecting the job satisfaction. This paper presents a comprehensive diagnosis of job satisfaction indices of telecom sector, the factors causing the dissatisfaction & suggestions to improve them.
