This study assessed the perceived contribution of Digital Project Management (DPM) tools to construction project performance in Lagos State, Nigeria. A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted among construction and built-environment professionals with experience in digital project management. Of 220 questionnaires distributed, 81 valid responses were analyzed using the Relative Importance Index (RII). DPM tools were rated favorably across all six performance dimensions examined (RII = 0.80–0.88). Stakeholder communication and collaboration ranked highest, followed by project scheduling and planning, quality control and assurance, and cost control and budget management, while resource allocation and risk management and mitigation were jointly ranked fifth. The results suggest that the immediate value of DPM tools lies in strengthening information flow and coordination, consistent with Organizational Information Processing Theory. The study recommends integrated use of digital tools across communication, scheduling, quality, cost, resource and risk management processes to improve construction project delivery
