Emerging Innovations in Teaching Business Education for Sustainable Development (Published)

Innovative teaching method involves the use of digitals and ICT based tools in teaching and learning. The global technological revolution especially in the areas of business has prompted the need for business education instructional delivery to be technology base if the programme is to achieve its goal of sustainable socio-economic development. Hence, this paper examines emerging innovation in teaching methods in Business Education for sustainable development.  The paper also examines the need for the adoption of innovative teaching methods in business education and the challenges to effective utilization of this method in business education. Some recommendations among others were Educational institutions should adopt fully innovative teaching technologies in business education, educational institutions should regularly organize relevant training for lecturers to constantly update their knowledge and skills, training institutions should partner with private sectors to provide adequate pedagogical innovative technologies and stable power supply for lecturer and students and finally Government should increase grants given to educational institutions to enable them provide needed ICT technologies and other infrastructural facilities for effective training of students.

Analyzing Factors Affecting Tourism Sustainable Development towards Vietnam In The New Era (Published)

This empirical study was conducted by qualitative approach to study the influential factors such as environment, society, economics affecting to the tourism sustainable development for Vietnam in the new era. The author collected the experts’ opinions to discuss and presented scale to measure the above factors. Basing on this study, the future researchers can apply this to study by quantitative method to verify the reliability of the scale and test whether the three above factors and observed variables are grouped into each factor or there is other latent factor as well as tesing the reliability of the research model. In addition, the author suggested the policy makers, leaders of ministry and departments of culture, sports, and tourism to apply this study to plan and implement policies to develop Vietnamese tourism in the context of international integration as well as satisfy the tourists coming to Vietnam.

Management of Amnesty Programme for Sustainable Livelihood in the Niger-Delta Region of Nigeria: Challenges and Policy Action (Review Completed - Accepted)

Many years of deprivation, marginalization and cheating of the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria led to the youth in attempt to find solution to the neglect formed themselves into groups which became aggressive as a result of the use of arms in approach and operation that brought about a near chaos environment in the region. As a response to curb the deplorable security situation in the region, the federal government of Nigeria initiated and pronounced the Niger Delta Amnesty Programme (NDAP). This study attempted to assess the success of the amnesty programme to deliver a sustainable livelihood for the repentant ex-militants and restore peace and security in the region. The study employed questionnaire and interview methods randomly administered in three of the nine states of the region. The study observed reoccurrence of crime, high consumption of illicit drugs, threat to local government council executives and intra/inter cult conflicts among others in the region. Its recommendations included decentralization of the amnesty rehabilitation camps and adoption of definite goals for the amnesty programe in order to achieve sustainable peace and livelihood in the region
