Estudio De Caso De La Salud Sexual En Una Relación Abierta (Published)

This study analyzes the sexual behavior of a couple in an open relationship. Information was obtained through a semi-structured interview with a heterosexual couple. The interview consisted of two stages: a joint interview, followed by an individual interview with each partner. The interview was conducted under international biotic principles, protecting the identity and confidentiality of each individual. Each partner signed a letter of informed consent and confidentiality of information. Voice recordings were used for processing and analyzing the data. The selected couple is 36 years old (the woman) and 53 years old (the man). They maintained a monogamous relationship for one year and nine months. After this period, they began an open relationship, which has lasted for one year and three months. As a result, the couple reports positive and negative aspects, boundaries, and norms regarding sexual activity, as well as the use of contraceptive methods, and the prevention of sexually transmitted infections and unwanted pregnancies.
