The study focused on difficulties of grammatical gender confronted by students in Bagabaga College of Education. The sample size was 58 students and Teachers who responded to the questionnaires and test items for only students. Analyses have revealed that most of the students have difficulties in determining the grammatical genre for inanimate nouns. Finally, the study recommends some strategies to employ to surmount the difficulties.
