Abstract

This study examines the analysis of perishable goods transportation in the context of supply chain management. The objective is to identify and examine the factors that impact the quality and cost-effectiveness of transporting goods with limited shelf life. This study emphasizes the importance of accurate data collation, tracking, risk assessment and mitigation, collaboration and communication amongst stakeholders, suitable infrastructure and equipment, and continuous improvement and assessment on industry standards. These factors are critical for optimizing the perishable goods transportation process and ensuring the freshness and quality of products at every stage in the supply chain. The research findings contribute to a deeper knowledge of the challenges and possibilities associated with perishable goods transportation, enabling companies to make informed decisions and implement powerful strategies to enhance their operations.
