The Relationship Between Accounting Information and Stock Price in Listed Service Companies in Nigeria (Published)
This study examined the relationship between accounting information and stock price of listed service companies in Nigeria for a period of 10 years from 2011 to 2020. The dependent variable being stock price while the independent variables are earnings per share, firm size and acid test ratio. This study adopted an ex-post facto research design as it relies on secondary data extracted from the annual reports of 10 listed service companies in Nigeria. The daily stock prices for these companies were sourced from the Nigerian Exchange Group for the stated period. Pearson product moment correlation and descriptive statistics was used as the method of data analysis, with the aid of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The study revealed that earnings per share, firm size and acid-test ratio have significant positive relationship with stock price of listed service companies in Nigeria. Based on the findings of the study, it is concluded that accounting information have a positive significant relationship with the stock price of listed service companies in Nigeria. It was therefore recommended that since accounting information has been found as one of the causes of stock price volatility, it is therefore the responsibility of management to ensure proper preparation and presentation of accounting information to enable potential investors make economic and investment decisions. It is also recommended that proper regulations of accounting information should be put in place and strictly followed as accounting information has the ability to cause either an increase or decrease in the stock prices of listed service companies in Nigeria.

Effect of Sustainability Reporting on Value-Relevance of Accounting Information in Nigeria (Published)
This study investigated the effect of sustainability reporting on value-relevance of accounting information in Nigeria. Ex-post facto research design was used and secondary data were obtained from 26 manufacturing companies listed in Nigerian Exchange Group. Data on sustainability reporting measures (environmental and governance) and value-relevance of accounting information measure (share price) were sourced from the published annual reports and accounts of the listed manufacturing companies from 2013-2023. Data obtained were analyzed using descriptive, correlation and inferential statistics. The analysis results revealed that sustainability reporting measures of environmental sustainability reporting and governance sustainability reporting significantly affect value-relevance of accounting information of the selected listed manufacturing companies in Nigeria. In view of the findings, the study recommends among others that, management of manufacturing companies should consistently increase its disclosure of environmental information and make it a mandatory practice and policy.

The Relevance of Accounting Information Practice on Small and Medium Scale Enterprise (SMEs) in Nigeria: A Theoretical Appraisal (Published)
This study theoretically reviewed the relevance of accounting information practice on SMEs in Nigeria. Accounting information is to provide high quality financial reporting. The qualitative characteristic of any accounting information system (AIS) can be maintained relative to ensuring the achievement of its operational goals and performance. This paper adopted library and theoretical literature survey approach and employed quotient research analysis with the use of secondary publications. The study identified SMEs as a catalysts instrument for economic growth and development. It noted that the ineffectiveness of AIS is the bane behind premature collapse of SMEs in Nigeria. The paper observed that proper AIS has enhanced SMEs success and provided requisite information support needed. The paper also noted that AIS has provided the basis for making strategic decision and understanding the accuracy of financial situation of SMEs in Nigeria. It therefore concludes that SMEs have the capacity to turning it fortune through AIS. Hence, studies have showed that financing options require information system that involves objectivity. However, those saddled with the responsibility of mentoring, nurturing as well as revamping SMEs in Nigeria should task them to adopt proper AIS and rescind from encouraging SMEs with credit facilities and other products alike if proper AIS is not maintained.

The Impacting of the Accounting Environment Affecting the Quality of the Accounting Information (Published)
Nowadays, enterprise accounting plays a very important role in providing accounting information for the management and operation of enterprises, which is the basis for making economic decisions and managing the business owners. Besides, accounting information also supplies for the stakeholders such as state management agencies, business partners, investors, etc. Understandably, the information and accounting data presented in the financial statements must be clear and easy to understand for the users. The user here is understood to be a person with an understanding of business, economics, finance, accounting at an average level. Information on complex issues in the financial statements must be explained in the explanatory note. The objective of the study is to find out the factors affecting the quality of accounting information. The study results showed that there were 200 persons who are the accountants in Vietnam who interviewed and answered about 13 questions. Data collected from March 2017 to December 2017 for accountants in Vietnam. The paper had been analyzed KMO test, Cronbach’s Alpha and the result of KMO analysis which used for multiple regression analysis. Accountants’ responses measured through an adapted questionnaire on a 5-point Likert scale (Conventions: 1: Completely disagree, 2: Disagree, 3: Normal; 4: Agree; 5: completely agree). Hard copy and online questionnaire distributed among 1.000 accountants in Vietnam. The research result showed that three components affecting the quality of the accounting information in Vietnam with significance level 5 percent. The research results processed from SPSS 20.0 software.

Corporate Governance Impacts to the Level of Accounting Information Disclosure – Evidence on Vn30 Listed Companies of Vietnam (Published)
Accounting information has important implication for users. Last time, the State Securities Commission has made provisions related to increase the quality and extent of the accounting information for listed companies. The disclosure of information by VN30 listed companies depend on the impact factors, in which corporate governance is one of the main factors. Based on the quantitative survey about the accounting information disclosure of listed companies in the regression model, results showed that two factors are size of board and the level of concentration of ownership affect the level of information disclosure for VN30 listed companies. From which the author proposes to increase the number of members of the board as well as control the concentration of power problems of a number of shareholders of listed companies to increase the level of information disclosure response to the users.

ACCOUNTING INFORMATION AND PROFIT PLANNING: THE CASE OF NIGERIA LISTED MANUFACTURING COMPANIES (Published)
In this study, the relationship between accounting information and profit planning was empirically investigated. Specifically, the study investigated the effect of cost information, sales information and marketing information on profitability. Descriptive and inferential statistics were carried out on the opinion of 222 top management staff purposively selected from the listed manufacturing companies in Nigeria with the aid of statistical package for social sciences (SPSS version 20). The results of the data analysis carried out in the study revealed that a positive significant relationship exists between accounting information and profitability of manufacturing organizations. Based on this, the study recommends that functioning accounting system should be put in place by the manufacturing companies in Nigeria.
