Teaching and Learning with Technology: Effectiveness of usage of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Facilities in Public Primary Schools in Ondo State, Nigeria (Published)
The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in schools is a worldwide requirements meant to replace traditional teaching methods with a technology- based teaching and learning tools and facilities which will assist teachers in their day to day activities of teaching, keeping of records among others. This study aims to analyze the importance of ICT usage to support teaching and learning process in the classroom and also to ascertain the Effectiveness of ICT usage for pupils learning. It also find out the challenges of usage of ICT facilities in public primary Schools. The findings from the study revealed that computer and internet facilities affected the Educational system better than before. Usage of ICT facilities in public primary Schools will improve the teaching and learning process. The following challenges were revealed from the study: lack of technical support/ Skills, problem of electricity, network issues inadequate ICT facilities in schools among others. It was therefore recommended that the government should give utmost priority to training of teachers in ICT usage. ICT specialist should be recruited and posted to each public primary School to provide technical support to other members of staff, Electricity should be improved upon or solar panels to be provided to schools. Teachers and pupils should be provided with ICT facilities such as educational tablet to improve their ICT usage for teaching and learning.

The Use of Flipped Learning Model in Enhancing Critical Thinking Skills Among Nigerian Students (Published)
The study investigated the use of flipped learning model in enhancing critical thinking skills among Nigerian students. The study utilised a non-randomised pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design. A sample of 153 NCE II students studying Primary Education was drawn from a population of 456 across schools of arts, college of education, Oju, Benue State using stratified sampling technique. The instruments for data collection, CTST which gave reliability coefficients of 0.81 was obtained using Kuder-Richardson (KR20) and Cronbach Alpha. One research question was stated and answered using mean and standard deviation while one null hypothesis was stated and tested using ANCOVA at 0.05 level of significance. The findings of the study revealed that there was a significant difference between critical thinking skills scores (P = 0.00 < 0.05) of the experimental and control groups. Based on the findings, it was concluded that flipped learning model has enhanced students’ critical thinking skills scores better than conventional method. It was therefore, recommended that school proprietors and governments should support the use of flipped model innovation.

It is the education given to children of 6 years to 11 years or above. Also, the paper examines the concept of primary education, relationship between theory and practice and effect of practicals to primary education. This paper therefore recommended that: government should provide enabling environment for attaining of quality education ii primary schools and the curriculum of primary schools should be restructured to reflect the aims and objectives of primary education. Enough funds should be mapped out by the federal government for proper caring of primary education.

Quality education in nation building is essential in any growing country like Nigeria. It is based on this background that this paper tries to examine the importance of quality assurance in our education system. It went further to x-ray the needs for quality assurance strategies for establishing quality assurance, the roles of educational managers in assuring quality education in Nigeria and challenges facing quality assurance, The paper also recommended that the government of Nigeria should formulate policy that will last for a long time concerning education system in the country, quality in education system should therefore focus on optimal development of skills, knowledge, values, attitudes, morals and capabilities of the recipients with emphasis on those relevant to the individual and the society and government should provide enabling environment for attaining of quality education in Nigeria.

Appraisal of Local Government Participation in the Administration of Primary Education in Nsukka Education Zone of Enugu State (Published)
The study investigated the extent of Local Government participation in the administration of primary Education in Nsukka Education Zone of Enugu State. One research question and one null hypothesis were formulated to guide the study. A 36-item researchers structured questionnaire was developed and administered to 986 respondents. The sample of the study was 986 participants comprising of five (5) education secretaries, 282 head teachers and 699 teachers. The population of the study were studied as the sample size which was obtained through simple random sampling technique. Descriptive survey research design was adopted. The data collected were analyzed using mean and standard deviation. A mean score of 2.50 was adopted as the cut-off-point or acceptable level for the items. The t-test statistic was employed in testing the three null hypotheses formulated for the study at 0.05 level of significance. The result of the analysis of the findings showed that the respondents are of the view that the local government councils in Nsukka education Zone do not participate meaningfully in the administration and funding of primary education. Based on the findings the study recommended that the three tiers of government should combine to fund primary education to avoid it being abandoned by a particular tier, among others
